Fee: $225 + uniform fee (price TBD)

Fall development & optional tournament preparation for grades 1–8.

The Georgetown Lacrosse Fall Program builds skills and prepares players for regional tournament competition — beginner-friendly, competitive, and open to all experience levels. Practices focus on fundamentals, teamwork, game strategy, and conditioning, building toward two fall tournaments.

Season dates run from October 27, and ends on Sunday, December 6 at the UT Longhorn Shootout qualifiers. The two tournaments include:

The Austin Gobbler Tournament which usually takes place the third Saturday in November

The UT Longhorn Shootout usually takes place the first weekend of December

Practice Schedule

  • Optional Saturday sessions for the two weeks leading up to tournaments for the younger divisions.

  • Seniors (7th/8th grade) will hold mandatory Saturday practices to accommodate football players — this ensures full team practices at least once per week.

Program Fee: $225 per player. Fees cover field use, coaching, tournament entry, and program administration. GYL is a nonprofit organization, and we price to cover costs, not turn a profit. Financial hardship? Contact us. We'll work something out.

USA Lacrosse Membership: All players must have a current USA Lacrosse membership prior to registering. The annual membership fee is $35 and can be obtained at usalacrosse.com. Have your confirmation number ready when you register.

USA Lacrosse Age Verification: All USA Lacrosse members, ages18 years old and younger are required to complete the one-time age verification process to maintain active membership status. Use this link to complete the age verification.

Uniforms: Uniforms are an additional cost and are not included in the registration fee. We realize this is an added cost so our goal is to keep this as economical as possible. Uniforms will include a reversible pennie, game shorts, and a game jersey.

After you register, you'll receive a link to order through the GYL online store. Order as soon as possible because uniforms take 2-4 weeks to fulfill. Waiting to order means risking your athlete not being game-ready for the first tournament. Uniform pricing available in the GYL store.
