one program. every high school. one georgetown.

The Georgetown area high school lacrosse program is a competitive club representing student-athletes in grades 9-12 throughout the Georgetown community.

Our roster includes players from public schools, private schools, charter schools, and homeschool programs located within the Georgetown ISD boundaries.

No matter where your athlete attends school, they have the opportunity to compete as part of one unified program that brings together some of the area's most driven and competitive student-athletes.

This is more than a team. It is Georgetown's lacrosse program.

one team. one standard.

Because our roster includes athletes from different schools and backgrounds, team culture matters.

Once players step on the field, school names disappear. They wear the same jersey, train under the same expectations, and compete for the same program.

That standard creates accountability, pride, and a shared commitment to something bigger than individual performance.

built for athletes who want more

Lacrosse is fast, physical, strategic, and demanding. It rewards athletes who are coachable, competitive, disciplined, and willing to put in the work.

A player's success is built long before game day. Players commit to development through:

  • Fall training opportunities
  • Pre-season preparation
  • A competitive spring season designed to challenge them both physically and mentally

During the season, athletes practice three to five times per week and compete against some of the strongest programs in Central Texas.

Every practice, workout, and game is an opportunity to develop stick skills, lacrosse IQ, leadership, and confidence under pressure.

The expectations are simple: show up prepared, compete with purpose, support your teammates, and strive to improve every day.

Success doesn't happen overnight. It is earned through preparation, consistency, and a commitment to continual growth.

open to athletes from every background

Many of our players began their athletic careers in football, basketball, soccer, baseball, wrestling, track, or other sports before discovering lacrosse.

Athleticism, work ethic, coachability, and competitiveness often matter far more than previous experience.

Our coaching staff develops players at every stage of their journey, from first-year athletes learning the fundamentals to experienced players looking to elevate their game

If your athlete is willing to learn and compete, there is a place for them in our program.

camaraderie beyond the field

Two lacrosse players sprint after the ball, one in white and blue, one in black, on a field with a goal in view.

The strongest teams are not built by athletes who happen to wear the same jersey. They are built through shared challenges, hard work, and a commitment to something bigger than themselves.

Our program brings players from public schools, private schools, charter schools, and homeschool programs as one team. Through practices, tournaments, travel, victories, setbacks, and countless hours of preparation, they develop bonds that extend far beyond the field.

Our coaching staff focuses on developing complete athletes through structured practices, competitive experiences, and intentional instruction. Athletes develop:

Technical skills

Passing, catching, shooting, dodging, defensive positioning, ground balls, face-offs, and position-specific techniques.

Game IQ

Decision-making, situational awareness, strategy, and the ability to understand and adapt within the flow of the game.

Athletic performance

Speed, agility, endurance, coordination, physical toughness, and confidence under pressure.

Competitive mindset

Discipline, accountability, resilience, and the ability to perform as part of a team pursuing a common goal.

As players grow together, they learn to trust one another, communicate effectively, hold each other accountable, and compete for something greater than individual achievement.

The result is more than player development.

It is a brotherhood built on shared experiences, mutual respect, and pride in representing Georgetown.

Georgetown Area High School Lacrosse competes in the Texas High School Lacrosse League (THSLL), facing established programs from across the Austin and San Antonio regions.

Throughout the season, our athletes compete against programs such as Anderson, Alamo Heights, Bowie, St. Andrew's, Vista Ridge, Westwood, Westlake, Smithson Valley, Gateway, and Austin High.

These programs feature experienced players, strong coaching staffs, and competitive game environments that challenge our athletes to continually improve.

Every practice, film session, and game preparation contributes to helping our players compete at a high level while representing the Georgetown community.
